Ahavah Arabian Advantures, LLC was pleased to travel with two mares, AA Aabyra and AA Pyeshona, to Rockdale County's Youth Detention Center in Conyers.

We were invited to introduce the young men there to horses, and specifically the Arabian breed. Most had no prior exposure to the equine species, so we shared their origins, characteristics, traits, and uses, as well as care, feeding, maintenance, and equipment. The participants asked good questions, and enjoyed the chance to meet and touch these lovely beings.

Our thanks to the professional DJJ staff and caring volunteers for making us feel welcome! We enjoyed creating a positive experience for group, and being Ambassadors for the Arabian horse!

Two new students from the Henry County 4H program came to the farm on Saturday. The girls had some solid time in the ring on Mirafa and Shona, and then a brief trail ride in the pasture. Loved when the girls asked to put flowers in the mare's manes!
