We asked our teachers one special question: “Why do you love teaching at CDD?” Throughout the next few weeks, we’ll be introducing our amazing 2026–2027 teachers and sharing their responses!

⭐️ CDD COMPETITION TEAM AUDITIONS START TOMORROW! ⭐️

We’re looking for dancers who are ready to work hard, grow, perform, compete, and be part of something special! This is your chance to become part of an AWARD-WINNING team and studio!

Auditions take place BOTH DAYS, and dancers will audition in ALL styles of dance. Both days are required! Dancers are also required to wear ALL BLACK.

The countdown is on . . . CDD Competition Team Auditions are almost here! 🩵

August 8th & 9th: $25 Audition Fee

Whether this is your very first audition or you’re returning for another season, walk into the room with confidence. We aren’t just looking for talented dancers, we’re looking for dancers who want to work hard, show kindness, stay disciplined, and are willing to grow.

At Carolina Dance District, we believe dance is about so much more than trophies. It’s about building confidence, character, friendships, and a love for the art that lasts a lifetime.

This week & next are the last of our Summer dance intensives!!!

What a week at NRG Nationals!

It was a long week filled with early mornings, late nights, lots of dancing, learning, laughter, and memories we’ll never forget. We are so proud of every single CDD dancer. Thank you to our amazing teachers, parents, and families for all of your support throughout the week.

A huge congratulations to all of our dancers who received NRG Coin Scholarships! Opportunities like these come from showing up, working hard, and never giving up, and we couldn’t be happier for each of you.

Nationals is about so much more than awards. It’s about growing as dancers, building friendships, making memories, and leaving inspired for the season ahead. Thank you, NRG, for an unforgettable week!

⭐️Studio Award: NRG Future Foundation Recipient of $1,000
- The NRG Future Foundation Studio Award recognizes studios that are committed to helping their dancers grow both in and out of the studio. It celebrates studios that prioritize strong training, positive mentorship, and building character while always encouraging their dancers to become the best versions of themselves. This will be awarded to a dancer who embodies what it means to be a CDD dancer, works hard, is disciplined, shows respect, stays dedicated, shows kindness, supports their teammates and is striving to be better not only as a dancer but a person.
