Valley Vista tennis is well represented at the State Tournament today. boys will participate in doubles and Autumn Grady in singles!

Yesterday, Valley Vista proudly celebrated our student-athletes at a special signing ceremony! ✍️🎉

Thank you to these incredible athletes and their families for the dedication, sacrifice, and commitment you’ve given to the Monsoon. Your hard work has paid off, and it’s been an honor to watch you represent Valley Vista with pride.

As you take the next step to compete at the collegiate level, we wish you nothing but success—on and off the field. Once a Monsoon, always a Monsoon! 💜

What a great day for Valley Vista Track & Field! 🔥

The Boys Team came out on top, scoring 150 points and edging out Shadow Ridge by just 2 points! 💪 The Girls Team also had a strong showing, finishing 2nd with 154 points.

🏆 Event Winners & Highlights:

Joseph Watts-Diver dominated, winning both the 100m and 200m
Boys 4x100 Relay (Hodgson, Johnson, Richards, Watts) took 1st
Jordan Jamison won Discus (129-00)
Kaleb Mitri cleared 11-03 to win Pole Vault
Ayden Johnson soared to win Long Jump (21-00)
Ah’Mehir Richards captured Triple Jump (45-06)

🔥 Girls Highlights:

Braylin Shaw won the 400m (1:02.54)
Girls 4x100 Relay (V. Rodriguez, V. Rodriguez, Rathburn, Shaw) took 1st
Genesis Martinez won Pole Vault (9-03)
Kayla Baker swept Triple Jump (33-01) and Long Jump (15-09)

Victoria Rodriguez (2nd – 100m & Long Jump)
Jai Myah Jenkens (2nd – 100m Hurdles)
Ava Hewitt (2nd – Shot Put)

Girls tennis dominated Tolleson on Senior Day by a score of 8-1!

We had six great student athlete leaders attend the SLAC Summit today. They will be looking to implement the things they learned today to engage the rest of the Monsoon Storm!
