Willow Canyon High School Announces Jeff Bowen as Varsity Head Football Coach
Surprise, AZ — Willow Canyon High School is pleased to announce that Jeff Bowen has accepted the school’s recommendation for hire and will serve as the Varsity Head Football Coach, pending district governing board approval.

Coach Bowen brings extensive experience as both a high school head football coach and college football coach, most recently serving as Head Coach at Arizona Christian University for the past 10 years. His background includes program leadership, staff development, and building competitive teams rooted in accountability, discipline, and character.

At the high school level, Coach Bowen has led varsity programs in Arizona and is recognized for his ability to develop student-athletes, establish clear expectations, and cultivate positive relationships with families, feeder programs, and the broader school community. His coaching philosophy emphasizes commitment, teamwork, and growth on and off the field.

Coach Bowen looks forward to beginning work with Willow Canyon student-athletes and staff as he builds relationships and establishes a clear vision for the future of Wildcat Football.

Our Wildcat baseball field is getting a facelift, and we can’t wait to see the final result! Improvements like these reflect our commitment to providing premier facilities for all of our athletes.

As we prepare to welcome all of our sports teams back to campus, we’re proud to offer top-tier fields, gyms, and weight rooms that match the strength and spirit of our student-athletes.

Students can view their schedules in the Student Portal or pick up a printed copy during 1st period on the first day of school.

💻 Chromebook Pick-Up – Freshman Class of 2029 & Newly Enrolled Wildcats 🐾

📅 July 24 | 1–5 PM
📅 July 25 | 8 AM–1 PM

✅ A parent/guardian must be present to sign the Chromebook Device User & Insurance Agreement in order for students to receive a device.
📄 Print the form ahead of time or complete one on-site.

💲 A $25 insurance fee will be added during the second week of school — families will receive an email and have 30 days to pay. Insurance is highly recommended!

📌 Can’t attend? Make-up distribution will occur during school hours the 1st or 2nd week of school — details announced on campus.
