Sad truth. In the pros when a goalkeeper gets scored on 3 or 4 goals, they talk about how terrible the goalkeeper was. Nothing about the 3 vs 1, nothing about defenders missing assignments, nothing about the striker that lost control of the ball in front of a goal.scoring opportunity. The announcers on tv, the posts on social media. Now, if the goalkeeper made a positional error or technical error, its a different conversation. Just like i dont think clean sheets tell.the story, goals against also doesnt always tell the full.story.

If we want to help develop more goalkeepers, we need to impact and develop more gk coaches. One great goalkeeper coach can impact several keepers. But many great gk coaches can impact MANY goalkeepers. The goal is not to isolate, but .... its to bring grest keeper coaches together to impact more goalkeepers and to stsrt to change the culture and the standards. Stay tune.....

Exciting things happening for 2027!

I was asked why i don't post some of the sessions i coach privately or group sessions. They say they are detailed, exciting and intense.
Here's the truth....... I am a Coach, not a content creator. I don't want to hit stop, record, move the camara.. i am ALL-IN with my session and my keepers. Not against those who post and share their video content but my session/drill may change at a blink of an eye if i don't see what is expected and to worry about the video and catching moments is just not something i focus on. I get paid to develop goalkeepers not post video content. :)
But, if any parent wants to record and post, i am all for it!
