All great things must come to an end! ❤️

After 11 years, it’s time for new goals, new opportunities, and growth. At the end of 2026, I will officially be closing the doors to The Hip Hop Shop.

If you know me, you know nothing is more important to me than my family and continuing to grow as a person. As another year comes to an end, I’m realizing it’s time to make some room on my already VERY full plate for new goals — and most importantly, my kids.

With 5 high school students and my little one in 3rd grade, they need me more than ever. We choose to be on the sidelines, benches, and bleachers watching them grow, and I don’t want to miss these years. ❤️

I’ve also added a pretty big personal goal to my plate. After 29 years in the car business, back in May I decided to go back to college to officially become a teacher! 🍎📚 It’s a lot of hard work, but I love challenging myself — and I love showing my kids that you can do anything you put your mind to, no matter what age you are.

To my Hip Hop Shop family — THANK YOU. ❤️

I know a lot of our members are sad, and I’m sorry. I truly am. But when I look back at everything we have done together, I can’t help but smile.

We have had thousands of laughs, some tears, incredible events, parties, celebrations, parades, Phillies dances, Sixers dances, and 11 years of memories. We watched teenagers become adults, kids graduate, and women hit personal fitness goals they never thought they could reach.

We even survived COVID together — dancing through a computer screen on Zoom! 😂💃

Thank you to every teacher, desk manager, party assistant, member, parent, child, and anyone who has ever stepped foot inside The Hip Hop Shop.

Having a small business isn’t easy, but we made it happen for a LONG time! And I will forever be proud of what we built together.

Most of all, thank you for giving me the opportunity to do some of my favorite things in this world — support, uplift, and serve my community.

Making kids and adults smile and watching people leave happier than when they walked in will forever be one of my goals in life. ❤️

I wish every single one of you nothing but the best. Keep growing. Keep pushing. Keep dancing. And keep working to be the very best version of YOU.

Thank you for 11 amazing years and a lifetime of memories. ❤️
