What God Has Joined Together…

44 years ago, August 20, 1982, the Lord joined these two together as husband and wife.

A lot has happened over those 44 years, and quite a lot in the last 48 hours. But through it all, their marriage has been a testimony of faithfulness, love for the Lord, and love for each other.

Dennis is “tough as a pine knot,” as a friend described him this week. But behind that toughness is a big heart and true teddy bear quality. He loves the Lord and his family, blood or not. To everyone, he is simply known as Pops.

Robin is solid and steady. What was a Yankees gal looking for in a Southern boy? Maybe someone to help her slow down. She is the salt to his sweet and the sass to his southern. She is our “Bougie” and “Mrs Robin” to the community.

After 44 years, they are still faithful as the sun rises and sets.

May God bless this marriage, this ministry, and this next chapter.
