Today we celebrate all the fathers, grandfathers, mentors, and father figures who make memories on and off the water with us. Wishing you a day filled with family, laughter, and smooth sailing.

The Summer Vashon Sailboat Race on June 13, welcomed sailors of all vessel sizes and classes for a day of competition on Puget Sound. 🗻 Due to light winds, this year’s race followed a shortened course, with participants rounding a mark off Olalla before finishing at Tacoma Yacht Club after a scenic run through Colvos Passage. ⚓

Tacoma Yacht Club brings generations together. From junior sailing to seasoned sailors, all of our members share a love for the water, connection, and community. ⚓

What a fantastic weekend at the Maritime Gig Festival & Blessing of the Fleet! ⚓️

We spent the weekend rafting up in beautiful Gig Harbor, surrounded by friends, boats, and plenty of summer fun. From the lively parade and bustling street fair to the cherished Blessing of the Fleet on Sunday afternoon, the community spirit was on full display.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on the water and on shore to celebrate one of Gig Harbor’s biggest summer traditions. We’re already looking forward to next year!
