Another throwback to Multicultural Night 2026 🌎✨

Last month on May 9, UWT PISA helped coordinate with the University YMCA and other RSOs at UW Tacoma to create an evening full of performances, food, and cultural connection. 💜💛

Thank you again to everyone who came out and made another Multicultural Night such a memorable event. We loved celebrating with you all and can’t wait to see everyone at the next one! ✨

We upgraded the TV! We love everyone hanging in the lobby to watch the games and realized our conference TV would be WAY better. Let's goo! And yes we'll start doing this for other sports as well.

When Melissa, a long-time Y staffer, casually mentioned to a member that she had a wife and her own daughter was taking classes at the Y, the member broke down in tears.

"She cried at the front desk because she realized the Y would be okay with her son having two moms and her coaching his team," Melissa recalls. "I can't imagine wanting to do something with and for my daughter and thinking I wasn't able to because they weren't accepted in this program."
