This is one of the biggest differences of functional training v.s. stationary:

In functional training, your muscles feel stronger but also looser than before your session.

In stationary training, your muscles feel bigger and tighter after a workout.

Functional training gets you the results you’re looking for, while also feeling the benefits of moving your body the way it was designed to.
