⚾ Riverdale Ridge Ravens / Northern Lights Fall Clinic ⚾

Riverdale Ridge Ravens HS Baseball will be hosting Northern Lights at their fields for the next fall clinic on September 11th. Players will continue to work on a variety of skills, including infield, outfield, hitting, and pitching. Participation is only $5 per player, with all proceeds supporting the youth athletes in both organizations and their respective baseball programs.

The clinic will be divided into two age groups:
-Minors/Majors
-Intermediate/Juniors

Only 25 spots will be available per age division, so early registration is encouraged. We plan to offer additional clinics throughout the fall based on interest and demand.

Together, we are creating affordable development opportunities, strengthening relationships within our community, and helping the next generation of players learn from those who recently stood in their shoes.

Riverdale Ridge Ravens + Northern Lights = A Stronger Community

At its core, Northern Lights Little League has been, and always will be, a development-focused organization. This fall, we are excited to launch a new collaboration with the players and coaches of Riverdale Ridge Ravens HS Baseball!

This partnership is about more than baseball. Riverdale Ridge student-athletes will have an opportunity to complete volunteer hours, develop their leadership skills, deepen their own understanding of the game and give back to younger players in their community.

For our Northern Lights athletes, it is a chance to learn from high school players and coaches who can serve as mentors and role models, people they can relate to, learn from and someday see themselves becoming.

We also believe strongly that players should be able to build sound baseball fundamentals within their own community without breaking the bank. That is why participation is only $5 per player, with all proceeds supporting youth athletes in both organizations and their respective baseball programs.

⚾ A Great Day for Baseball in Our Community! ⚾

It was great to see so many Northern Lights players at today’s Riverdale Ridge Ravens HS Baseball working hard, learning, and having fun alongside the Riverdale Ridge coaching staff led by Coach Jimmy Luetjen, their student-athletes, and Coach Kurt Russell from Western Oklahoma State College. The boys covered the bases today with infield, outfield, hitting, base running, and pitching.

Opportunities like this give young players the chance to learn from experienced coaches, connect with athletes they can look up to, and see where their baseball journey could take them. A big thank-you to the entire Riverdale Ridge Baseball program and Coach Russell for investing their time and knowledge into the next generation of players.

And this is only the beginning…

✨All-Star Update✨

Our 2026 All-Star run has officially come to an end, and what a historic summer it was for Northern Lights.

Our softball program captured a District championship in its first season back, an incredible accomplishment and an exciting beginning for the future of Northern Lights softball.

For the first time in league history, three Northern Lights baseball teams - the Intermediate, Junior, and Senior teams won the District 2 and the Colorado State Championships to advance to their respective West Region tournaments.

We could not be prouder of everything our teams accomplished. They competed with heart, represented Northern Lights with pride, and created memories that will last far beyond the final out.

Tournament losses do not define these teams. They do not erase the friendships, growth, or remarkable success these players achieved along the way.

To our players: Hold your heads high and be proud of everything you accomplished together.

To our coaches, families, volunteers and supporters: Thank you for the countless hours, miles traveled and unwavering encouragement that made this historic season possible.

Congratulations once again to all of our 2026 Northern Lights All-Stars. You made your league and your community incredibly proud. ⚾🥎💙

⚾ The intermediate team made the tournament as the #8 seed and will play Idaho tonight at 6 p.m. Getting into the single elimination tournament is a big accomplishment. Way to go boys and good luck tonight!
