🥎 Seven games. Room to experiment. A team ready for summer.

The 2027 Capital City Showdown is the perfect place to get your travel season rolling!

📍 Columbus, Ohio | June 4–6, 2027
🥎 7-game guarantee for 12U–18U

With free defensive substitutions and the freedom to bat your entire lineup, coaches can try different combinations, give athletes opportunities at new positions, and discover what clicks.

All with great competition and some of the best umpires around.

No bracket play means no pressure to survive and advance. A tough game becomes something to learn from, with another opportunity to put those lessons into practice.

Because early in the season, success looks like learning to communicate. Picking up a teammate after an error. Finding your rhythm together. Building the chemistry, flexibility, and resilience you’ll lean on all summer.

Come compete. Try something new. Leave a stronger team.

🥎 PLAYER DEVELOPMENT CLINICS: WHAT ARE THEY & WHY DO WE OFFER THEM?

At Fastpitch Showdowns, we believe development is just as important as competition! 💪🔥

So, what exactly are Player Development Clinics?

Our clinics are opportunities for athletes to focus on improving their skills, learning new techniques, building confidence, and growing their understanding of the game. From hitting and fielding to pitching, throwing, and overall softball IQ, these sessions give players a chance to focus on the details that make a difference on the field.

🥎 Why do we offer them?
✅ To help athletes develop fundamental skills.
✅ To provide quality instruction and opportunities to learn.
✅ To build confidence and encourage a growth mindset.
✅ To help players prepare for competition and take their game to the next level.
✅ To create an environment where athletes can learn, improve, and have fun!

At Fastpitch Showdowns, it’s about more than just playing the game. It’s about getting better, building confidence, and helping athletes reach their full potential. 💥

Because great players aren’t just born — they’re developed! 🥎👏

🥎 ATHLETE FIRST. ALWAYS. ❤️

At Fastpitch Showdowns, we believe softball is about more than wins and losses. It’s about creating opportunities, developing athletes, building confidence, making memories, and most importantly, making sure our players LOVE the game.

From meaningful playing opportunities and player development to fun experiences and recognizing athletes on and off the field — the athlete is at the heart of everything we do.

Because at the end of the day, if it’s not fun, what’s the point? 💙🥎

🏆 Coaching is about so much more than what happens on the field.

Building a positive sports culture means teaching athletes lessons that will stay with them long after the final whistle—confidence, accountability, teamwork, resilience, and respect.

This is a great reminder that the impact of a coach can reach far beyond the scoreboard. Take a few minutes to check it out and consider how we can continue creating positive, effective environments for our athletes. 💪
