AUSL’s 2026 growth points toward a promising future for professional softball.

Athletes Unlimited CEO and co-founder Jon Patricof shared the following results from the 2026 season:

ATTENDANCE
• 23 regular-season sellout crowds
• 25 total sellouts, including the AUSL Championship

TELEVISION VIEWERSHIP
• 732,000 average viewers for Game 1 of the AUSL Championship on ABC, the first professional softball game on broadcast television, and the most-watched professional softball game ever
• Average regular-season viewership across ESPN platforms increased 183%

SOCIAL MEDIA
• 453 million social impressions, up 97%
• 137 million social video views, up 139%
• 447,000 new followers across league platforms

MERCHANDISE
• Merchandise sales increased 110%

SPONSORSHIP AND INVESTMENT
• Expanded investment from returning and new sponsors
• New strategic investments from the Milwaukee Brewers and Ryan Sanders Baseball

The AUSL’s second season showed growth across nearly every major area of the league and offered another sign that the audience for professional softball continues to expand.
