Our ambassador & friend Alex Harper is a familiar face. Last year he guided the Kowa team and David Lindo aka THE URBAN BIRDER, sharing local birds & wildlife that can be found just outside of Las Vegas which included David's lifer Crissal Thrasher! Check out the fantastic short film "The Great Depletion" he and colleague Austin (and "Saint Sam") just released. Full of great natural history information and videos, the duo offer first hand insight on the challenges wildlife (and they) face as they traverse 112 miles across the entire Las Vegas basin. We had an excellent show at the Southeast Arizona Birding Festival last week with a lot of enthusiastic responses to our new BD III & SV III binocular models. Our digiscoping workshop was well attended with great interest and questions. Others swung by for assistance in trouble shooting adapter woes which we were able to sort as well! Join the fun at the Southeast Arizona Birding Festival August 12-16, 2026 presented by the Tucson Bird Alliance. Packed with field trips to local birding hotspots, nature presentations and instructional workshops, the festival has something for everyone.
