🌞 Summer camp has officially begun!

We started summer off strong this week with our Full Fleet Adventure Sail Camp! While the weather didn't exactly get the memo that it's summer yet, our campers didn't let a few cloudy skies stop the fun.

From sailing around the bays to making new friends, experiencing new boats, and enjoying adventures on the water, our sailors have had an incredible week so far. The smiles, laughter, and excitement are proof that you don't need endless sunshine to have a great time sailing!

We're looking forward to many more weeks of fun, adventure, and memories on the water this summer—hopefully with a little more sunshine mixed in! ⛵️☁️🌊

Safety is one of our top priorities here at VYBA! Here is another fun sneek peak of our CPR & First Aid training that took place during our Coach Training Week. Our coaches and volunteers were practicing chest compressions while our instructor, Scott, kept the energy high and the beat steady! We had a great time reviewing the skills that keep our sailors safe and we are ready for a great summer!

Before summer classes began, our coaches and volunteers spent the week getting ready for another safe and successful season on the water! ⛵️

During Coach Training Week, we reviewed and practiced important safety procedures, including man overboard drills. We held a class in the shed so that all of our coaches and volunteers could renew their CPR & First Aid Certifications. We also worked hard preparing our fleet for summer programs, with some team members even learning fiberglass repair skills to help keep our boats in top condition.

Of course, it wasn't all work! We had a great time finishing the setup and taking out one of our newest boats, the RS Toura, and wrapped up the week with a cookout on Snake Island filled with sailing, laughs, and great company.

A huge thank you to all of our dedicated coaches and volunteers for their hard work and commitment. We're excited and ready for an amazing summer on the water! ☀️🌊⛵️
