Quite possibly, the most fitting LEGO I could get for Father’s Day!

Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads out there! I was so stoked to see my favorite Father’s Day tradition back on the calendar! I spent the day feeling so blessed to be able to do this with the boys. Well, the 2 that are still home.
Happy Father’s Day to ALL the Dads out there!

Gawt Dayum! This wheelset came out 🔥! Limited Edition 240 hubs laced to Triad carbon rims (formerly We Are One). The red hubs and ni***es with the sound of the high engagement ratchets ties it all together!

This wheel build went down today. DT Swiss official Limited Edition 240 hubs and red Sapim Double Square Secure Lock ni***es.

Gave my DH rig “The Treatment” with a complete service of the RockShox Vivid Air and Boxxer Ultimate, brake bleed and new pads and fresh rubbers from Schwalbe Tires. I also went from 25mm rise bars to 40mm rise bars. After going to a higher rise bar on the Wreckoning, I noticed an immediate difference in handling and ride characteristics.
One of the hottest topics of discussion is high rise bars, especially with some high profile racers riding 60-80mm rise bars. After we discuss what rise you should be on, we can discuss what width you should be riding. How many hours can you spare?

Schwalbe Tires Romy’s are in. For those running Albert’s front and rear and looking for something to roll a little faster, the Romy is a good choice for a rear. It would be good for the front, too. The Romy shares similar k***s and tread pattern as the Albert, but slightly shorter k***s. For the loose over hard conditions on the local trails, an Albert/Albert, or Albert front/Romy rear or Romy/Romy would be a good tire set up.

This COMMENCAL BIKES & SKIS Supreme V4 got The Treatment, which includes a complete fork service, rear shock service, fresh rubber and brake bleeds with new pads. One of the biggest misperceptions about coil rear shocks is that they don’t need service as often as air shocks. ALL rear shocks have an IFP, internal floating piston, which is pressurized. It’s this pressure that makes coil shocks ride with a little progression and gives that bottomless feel. The o-rings that maintain this pressure do fail with time which severely affects ride quality. The ONLY service that should be performed on coil shocks is a complete damper service. And, the shock should look like this at some point when being serviced. Swipe 👉🏽 for a pic of the shock.

I brought this Stumpy back to life. This frame was made here, in the US of A! New tires, tubes, cables, grips, and brake pads. This bike will be returning to the trails, so keep an eye out for it.
