Title 9 athletes — THANK YOU. 💙

Yesterday asked a little more of everyone. We moved the start up to beat the incoming w eather, plans changed, and eventually the rain found us. ☔

But the smiles? The cheering? The energy? Those never let up.

From the starting line to an awards ceremony filled with women cheering for one another, the spirit of Title 9 was everywhere.

You showed up. You adapted. You raced. You supported one another. And you reminded us exactly what this event is all about.
You are built for hard things. 💙

Congratulations, ladies — and thank you for making this one so special! 🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Rain or shine, we’re ready to race. 💪🌧️

The skies were blue and crystal clear.

On this morning 25 years ago, I was still fairly new to Boston. I remember turning on the news, making coffee, and watching the images unfold on TV. It was heart-wrenching.

Having grown up in New Jersey, not far from Manhattan, the Twin Towers had always been such a familiar symbol — of strength, of New York City, and in many ways, of America itself.

Today, I can’t help but think about all of the heroes who lost their lives that day. The firefighters, police officers, first responders, and so many others who showed incredible courage — running toward danger while helping others find their way to safety.

On this 25th anniversary of September 11, we remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the courage and sacrifice shown that day.

We will never forget. ~ Tim from Max
