Get to know Coach Mandy!! 👊🏽

“I love my job as Instructional Coach for Warsaw Community Schools and I’ve been a teacher since 2002. I also serve as a Sonlight teacher for Warsaw Community Church. It’s safe to say that being a teacher/coach is a big part of who I am!

I am married to an incredible husband, Derrick, my high school sweetheart. We have two sons: Bryce, 21, and Brody, 19. Our family loves to travel and do outdoor activities like biking, hiking, snow-skiing, and water-sports.

In 2020, I decided to hire a personal trainer and it changed my life! I started lifting weights, tracking steps, and managing my macros and calories. Most of my workouts were done alone in my basement with a video camera (because…COVID). I lost 40 pounds and gained a lot of strength and energy.

I started coming to Strive a few years ago because I needed some motivation to keep working towards my goals, and I was craving community. A few classes in, and I was hooked!

Now, I love coaching at Strive and sharing what I’ve learned with others. The strength floor is my favorite and I love to help members lift heavy and gain confidence. I strive to encourage, challenge, and inspire members as I coach and workout alongside you!”
