Bittersweet moments in this sport, but I couldn't be prouder. Valentino stepped into that ring and absolutely took it like a true champ. In this game, you win some and you lose some, but we never walk away empty-handed—we gained invaluable experience today.
It shows the world that even though these boys come from a small town in Iowa—a state not traditionally known for boxing—they are putting their names on the map. They are stepping up to the plate, taking on these massive tournaments, and proving they belong on the big stages.
I am incredibly proud of Valentino, all of our boys, and the entire Bravo Boxing Club family. We are going to keep pushing ourselves to work harder and gain more experience than anyone else back home. This is only the beginning. Onto the next one!
