Starting a virtual studio this September.
Two weekly sessions a week. Tuesday evening and Saturday morning. A yoga Nidra practice once a month, and a community meeting once a month.
The goal here is to create a shared space that is dedicated to good company and the benefits that come with it.
Price is $100 a month
But if that's steep, there'll be a tip jar in every session and you're welcome to show up and give what you can.
Let me know if you have any questions. The link to buy is in the bio.
Let things be easy!
Learning how to move differently, with ease and stability changes the relationship we have to our bodies and to our minds.
I'm launching a virtual studio this September where we will explore this very concept. Comment below if you're interested and I'll reach out with more information.
Here's what it's like inside my mind during meditation.
You are not alone. If you think that meditation means forcing your mind to be still. Your mind is supposed to think. Let the thoughts come and go. The key is to return yourself back to the object of meditation, breath, mantra whatever you need it to be.
15 minute meditation, I sped it up though for one minute. I wouldn't want to subjugate you all to 15 minutes of pure candid inner Austin.
Had a fun conversation today with a group of clients about feeling into the gray area.
There is a difference between feeling depressed, and feeling the gray state. The gray State at first can be uncomfortable, but eventually paves the way towards a larger state of equanimity.

Just a few thoughts on scope of practice and yoga therapy. And how we can make yoga more accessible to everyone.
I do misspeak towards the end where I say able-bodied folks are the only ones who can attain the benefits of yoga. But as I was thinking about it, anyone can attain some of the benefits of mindfulness practices. The yamas the niyamas all of this can be useful and an immense benefit regardless of your presentation as a human being.

I tend to be someone who throws themselves relentlessly at problems. Over time I've learned that doing less more completely is all I really needed.
This isn't always possible. Especially with the demands that our lives give us these days. But the race of days will one day come to an end.
