Summer Trivia keeps rolling tomorrow night - we’ll see you up at the Pub at 6:30!
I’ve heard rumors from Lauren and Greg that this week’s theme is FIFA, so one question each round will be FIFA/World Cup relevant. 5 rounds total will last around 1.5 hours.
The top team each week will get a prize, every Friday night in July & August. Plus, recurrent visits will count toward your cumulative score for the league with the Grand Prize on the line come August 28.

Micah J is back on the mountain this weekend.
A crowd favorite last summer, he's bringing that warm, easygoing sound back to the Chair 5 Pub. It's the perfect backdrop for a summer Saturday: good food, cold drinks, and long July light over the Wenatchee Valley.
Come enjoy on Saturday, July 11 from 6:30–8:30pm.

Trivia, live music, and a mountain full of trail racers. Here's what's on at the Chair 5 Pub this weekend:
Friday: Open 4–9pm for dinner, with Trivia Night from 6:30–8pm. Round up your team and put your summer smarts to the test.
Saturday: Open 11–9 for lunch and dinner. Come refuel and relax to live music from Micah J, 6:30–8:30pm. He was a crowd favorite last summer, and those smooth mountain-night vibes are back. With the Devil’s Gulch Trail Race in town, the mountain should be buzzing with some extra excitement courtesy of our friends at Evergreen Trails.
Sunday: Open 9–2 for breakfast and lunch. Take it slow in the morning sun, or fuel up early and hit the trail with plenty of daylight to go around.

Shades of purple continue to work their way up the slopes as summer kicks into gear across all elevations. From lupine fields to penstemon patches along with smatterings of fleabane and beardtongue, a trip up the mountain continues to reward us with a range of purple wildflowers. The densest lupine fields are now coming into bloom in that 5000-6000 foot range and will continue to progress up the mountain, making every trip a little different.

Smoked brisket, house BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, and roasted peppers come together in the Southwest Brisket Panini, a strong choice when you’re hungry after a day at the Ridge. Served with your choice of sides… I’ll always vouch for the garlic fries though.

Happy Fourth of July from The Ridge!
We hope you have a chance to slow down, spend some time with loved ones, and appreciate the freedoms that allow us to prioritize time outdoors the way that we are able.
In order to allow our staff to do the same, don’t forget that the Chair 5 Pub is closed today (July 4). We will re-open tomorrow (Sunday, July 5) to enjoy the rest of the weekend on the mountain.

Coming up to hike this weekend? A 3 mile loop of the Squilchuck and Pipeline Trails with a return via the Summer Road is a great way to enjoy diverse flora and fauna along with great views on a moderate route.
With most of the 500 feet of vertical gain coming in the first half-mile ascent up the Squilchuck Trail, there’s plenty of room to enjoy the diverse flowers in bloom before making it back into the resort boundary, where you’ll be rewarded with expansive views into the Upper Basin. A sunny forecast and Base Area temps in the low 70s mean it’s gonna be a perfect long weekend to get out and explore the mountain.

Every summer, the Mission Ridge Yeti retreats to the cool, shaded basins of the upper mountain, rarely to be seen.
But last night, onlookers caught a rare glimpse as he made a pilgrimage down to the valley. Drawn by a force stronger than his hibernation instinct - the Wenatchee AppleSox home schedule - our shaggy friend braved the heat to cheer on the team and throw out the first pitch.
His roar of triumph echoed across the valley as the Sox ran out 9-6 winners on the night, continuing their fantastic form this season. He’s now back up in a shady hollow recovering from his journey, but we’re proud to keep backing the Applesox all summer long.
🍎⚾ Go Sox.
