⭐️ HOUSEKEEPING POST #4 ⭐️
Westfield Riding Club Annual 4-H & Open Horse Show
🌞It is going to be a very warm show! Please be sure to stay hydrated and keep your horses hydrated! EZ up/pop up tents are allowed by your trailer. Please be sure to secure them so there are no fly aways!
🌙 Show grounds open at 6am on Sunday. Please follow the direction of our parking staff so we can leave adequate space between trailers!
📝 Show office will be open for check in at 6:15 am. Please be sure to check in promptly after parking so we may have all of your numbers handed out.
🕕 Show start is 8:00am sharp. 4-H Fitting and showmanship exhibitors should be by the main in gate by 7:50 to check in
🕰️ The arena will be open to use for warm up from 6:00am to 7:45am. This will be for hand walking, riding and lunging only. Driving animals will have their own ring time for warm up ahead of their classes. No carts will be allowed in the arena until that time.
🏝️We plan to keep our classes running promptly so that we can keep everyone safe in the weather! Please pay close attention to announcements and be sure to know which gate you are doing to for the split ring sessions in the am!
🧇 Wandering Waffles will be with us for the day serving breakfast, lunch, snacks, drinks and ice cream! Please support our local food truck!
🏆 Prizes and ribbons will be available for pick up by the announcer booth! Please have your class number and back number ready when picking up. Award table volunteers will not be able to search for results for those who do not know their numbers until the end of the day.
🗑️ All trash and manure needs to be tidy and clean before leaving the grounds. Please use our trash cans located between the announcer stand & food truck to dispose of all food/trash!
💧 Water for horses is available next to the cook shack. There is a hose and spout available for all to use! Please bring a bucket with you to refill
🚗 Cars will NOT be allowed to park next to trailers. There are designated parking areas ringside and by the clubhouse. Any vehicle not directly hitched to a trailer will be asked to move.
🐶 There are no dogs allowed during the events. As much as we all are animal lovers, some horses do not handle dogs or other small animals well. Per our insurance policies, no non equine animals are permitted on the grounds during events. Please keep your pups home in the cool!
❓Have questions? Please message us, send an email or ask our show staff at the secretary/announcer booth! We are always happy to help and appreciate all suggestions/feedback! We will have a survey sent out next week following the show to help us with planning for next year!
💐As always, a very sincere thank you to our volunteers, show staff, Westfield Riding Club members, sponsors and supporters for choosing to spend their time with us!
🍀These shows would not be possible without all who attend, support, volunteer and help plan!
