Halloween Buddy Day combines beginner-friendly martial arts activities with confidence, awareness, teamwork and age-appropriate safety skills.

📅 SAVE THE DATE: OCTOBER RANK TESTING

Testing is still several weeks away, but we’re sharing the schedule early so every family has plenty of time to plan!

Please review the attached graphic carefully and note your student’s testing time based on their program and current rank.

🥋 Students should arrive wearing the belt for their current rank.
🥋 A full white uniform is required—no uniform T-shirt.
🚫 Regular classes will not be held on the scheduled testing day(s).

If you cannot attend your scheduled time, make-up testing may be completed only during the week before or the week after testing.

Keep training hard—we can’t wait to see everyone show what they’ve learned!

Ninja Star Photo Days are coming to Horizon ATA on Friday, October 2 and Saturday, October 3.

Professional martial arts portraits are a great way to preserve your student’s current rank, confidence and progress. Students from both our Westlake and Sheffield Village schools are invited to participate, with all sessions taking place at Horizon ATA Westlake.

These are the confirmed replacement dates following Ninja Star Photo’s requested change from the original September schedule.

Each participating student needs an individual appointment.

Horizon ATA will be closed today, Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.

There will be no classes at our Westlake or Sheffield locations.

Join us Saturday, October 17, for a free Trick-or-Treat Safety Class for ages 3–12!

Current Horizon students will train alongside a buddy while building confidence, awareness and teamwork. No martial arts experience is needed for buddies.

Choose your child’s buddy, send their family the event page and make sure both children register separately. Students and their buddies must attend together.

Appointments are open now, so if your family has not reserved a time yet, this is a great opportunity to choose the appointment that works best for you.

These October dates are the replacement weekend requested by Ninja Star Photo. Horizon ATA was prepared to host the original September dates as planned.
