Behind the scenes of Wet Planet staff training! Yesterday was all about learning the ropes (literally) on the zip line at our private put in, practicing safety drills, and learning new lines with our crew. It's all part of the job, and getting to know the team makes it even better.

Our 6-Day Main Salmon Rowing School (August 17–22, 2026) is the perfect opportunity to build real confidence on the oars while experiencing one of the most iconic multi-day rivers out there. Whether you’re a private boater prepping for your first multi-day permit or an aspiring guide, we focus on the technical fundamentals that make boating feel manageable and rewarding. Over six days on the river, you’ll develop the skills, awareness, and comfort needed to take on bigger water and longer trips with confidence.

• Proper oar mechanics and body positioning
• Reading complex water and finding the “green tongue”
• Technical maneuvers (ferrying, back-pivoting, and lateral moves)
• Basic river safety and boat management
