Vincent Londino, who just wrapped up his second season at the helm of the Delsea Regional High program after leading the Crusaders to the South Jersey Group 3 sectional title, announced that he accepted the head coaching position at Rowan College of South Jersey’s Cumberland campus.

It’s official: RCSJ-Cumberland’s new head baseball coach

Longtime Rancocas Valley head boys basketball coach Jay Flanagan was named the new head coach at Lower Cape May, approved by the BOE on Wednesday night.

Flanagan is the fifth winningest active coach in South Jersey history and 11th overall, earning his 500th career win two years ago.

BREAKING: Washington Township Athletic Director Kevin Murphy is retiring, effective August 31.

He was the head of Minutemen athletics for the last 24 years. Certainly one of the best, he will be missed roaming around the campus on his cart.

There have been a lot of people who have looked at my high school experience and thought it was too much or involved way too many switches.

In my eyes, it turned out exactly the way it was supposed to. I believe everything happens for a reason, and I’m SO grateful to have met and become friends with so many amazing people across different communities.

I want to thank everyone at Pitman (outside of a few), Clearview, and especially Woodstown for allowing this kid to share the halls with you.

And a sincere thank you to Woodstown. When I walked into WHS last March, I was extremely depressed and wanted no part of being there after getting dismissed from my last school. I was out of school for a month and completely discouraged.

It was the people around me who made me realize how special a place Woodstown is. So much so that when I left for Cview in December, I quickly realized what I was missing (not taking anything away from Clearview— it’s a great place as well).

To Mr. Richard Senor: I’ll never forget walking into your office for the first time 16 months ago. On the inside, I was depressed, unmotivated, and lacking the energy that has always defined me.

I sat down with you and told you the truth. I said, “All I need is an opportunity.”

You gave me that opportunity. Thank you so much for giving me a chance. You brought this kid’s smile back.

Whatever my future holds — especially if it’s in education or administration — I’ll aspire to be just as good a principal… and no, actually— just as amazing a person, as you. I’ll always remember what you did for me and the impact you had on me.

I’ll make you proud.
