We are proud to announce the 2026 Wooster Generals Football Captains!

⚔️ #7 Landen Bird — Senior | WR/DB
⚔️ #14 Logan Gattuso — Senior | WR/LB
⚔️ #52 Owen Bailey — Junior | OL/LB
⚔️ #19 Griffin Siegenthaler — Sophomore | QB/DB

Being considered for captain is earned, not given.

To be eligible, players had to finish in the top 25% of the team in total competition points—points earned through their performance and commitment in the classroom, community, weight room, and on the practice field.

From that group, every player on the roster had the opportunity to select four teammates they believed best represented the leadership and character needed to lead this team.

These four student-athletes were chosen by their peers to lead into battle this season.

We are incredibly proud of Landen, Logan, Owen, and Griffin and can’t wait to see them lead the Generals!

The excitement is building, and we’re fired up about the numbers in our program this season. From our freshmen to JV to varsity, every level of Wooster Football has been working their tails off all offseason to prepare for kickoff.

Now it’s almost time to put all that hard work on display.

Come out this fall, pack the stands, and support these young men as they represent our school and community. Your energy makes a difference!

What a night for Wooster Football!

Our guys got after it tonight at our summer pool party. A great chance to relax, compete, and continue building what this team is all about. This group is coming together!

Huge THANK YOU to all of our parents and families for the incredible food and for everything you do to support our program. We couldn’t do this without you!

This is more than football! It’s family, it’s energy, it’s momentum.

The Generals are building something special and we’re just getting started.

Attention K-2 and 3-4 flag football families! Everything kicks off next Monday at Maurer Field, and we could not be more excited to see these kids on the field! We will have coaches and board members running age-appropriate stations. Please bring water!
