Helping Athletes Recover, Perform, & Excel

I often get asked, "how quickly will I see results?"

The answer? Progress doesn't have overnight. It comes from showing up consistently, working through challenges, and trusting the process.

The work you put in today is setting the stage for tomorrow's success.

Not every athlete needs the same training.

One of the biggest misconceptions in youth sports is that younger athletes should train like adults. My approach focuses on age-appropriate development, helping athletes build proper movement patterns, coordination, strength, and confidence before progressing to more advanced training.

One of my favorite parts of what I do is watching athletes accomplish things they didn't think were possible.

Whether it's lifting a little more weight, moving better, recovering from an injury, or reaching a milestone in the sport they love, I'm proud of every client who chooses to invest in themselves.

Recovery isn't a reward for training. It's part of training.

Whether it's manual therapy, mobility work, corrective exercises, or simply helping athletes understand how to take care of their bodies, recovery plays a huge role in long-term success.

Train hard. Recover Well. Repeat. 💪

While others are taking a break this summer, my athletes are putting in the work to become stronger, faster, and more resilient. I'm incredibly proud of the dedication I've seen this offseason. The improvements in strength, movement quality, and confidence don't happen by accident... they happen through consistent effort.

Keep showing up. The results will follow.

Reactive Strength Index (abbreviated RSI) evaluates the fast stretch shortening cycle in an athlete. Simply divide the vertical jump height in meters by the ground contact time. This evaluates how fast and how much force the athlete can generate when changing directions. We like to see this number increase over time but we more often use this as an indicator of how fatigued the athlete might be that day. We either test vertical jump or RSI with the 10 - 5 hop test before every workout using OVR Performance This can guide how hard we can push that day (ex. higher vs lower intensity plyometrics) and has even more value in season when athletes are competing. So how did everyone do?
