MEN'S HEALTH WEEK
www.menshealthweek.com.au
This website is an absolute ripper! That stat alone is the very reason a website like this is so bloody brilliant.
The premise of the website is about 101 reasons to see your GP, which is this year's theme for MHW.
There are articles, a section where you can find health services and a kick ass quiz - where you can test yourself on what warrants a visit to your Doc.
I can't recommend checking this website out enough!! Fellas, you get one shot with your health, I'll do it later may quickly slip into never until something goes really wrong - DON'T WAIT! The world is better with you in it!
High five to healthymale.org.au and the Centre for Male Health www.westernsydney.edu.au/centre-for-male-health for producing this website. I hunt every Men's Health Week for great info and this is the ducks nuts!!

♂️ It's Men's Health Week ♂️ to all the lads out there, if you have been putting off looking after yourself - THIS IS YOUR SIGN!! It's the week to get it done!
And to kick off the week our superstar Semi-Private PT Coach Danny has a message for you, & with this year's theme of 'See your GP' this message is a goodie!
The thing that actually kills men - it's not the lack of gym time. Not poor nutrition. Those matter — but they're not the thing.
It's the refusal to ask for help.
Statistically, men die younger than women from almost every major health condition — and a huge part of that gap comes down to one behaviour: we wait too long. We downplay symptoms. We tell ourselves it'll pass. We don't book the appointment.
I've had clients tell me about chest tightness, fatigue, low mood, or joint pain they'd been carrying for months — sometimes years — before mentioning it. Not because they didn't care about their health. Because somewhere along the way they'd been taught that pushing through was strength.
It's not. Ignoring your body is just a slower way of letting it down.
This week — do one of these things:
→ Book the GP check you've been putting off
→ Get your bloods done if it's been more than a year
→ Have the honest conversation with someone you trust about how you're actually going
Training hard means nothing if the engine has warning lights you keep ignoring.
What's one health thing you've been putting off? Drop it below — no judgment.
