The countdown is over! Amanzimtoti Youth Rugby Club is absolutely thrilled to host our Minis Hosting Day tomorrow, Sunday, 31st May 2026.
We are ready to welcome all our incredible players, passionate parents, dedicated coaches, and visiting clubs to the beautiful Hutchison Park for a memorable day focused on community, skills growth, and the pure joy of the game. As our Chairman Dirk Smit perfectly notes, "Today is not about the scoreboard. It is about giving our children the opportunity to enjoy their rugby and build lifelong friendships."
Here is everything you need to know to navigate your ultimate game day guide:
⏱️ Fixtures & Field Layout
Action-Packed Schedule: Games kick off bright and early from 07:30 across fields U7, U8, U9, and U11. Check out the images above to spot exactly when and where your team plays!
Parking Details: On-site parking is available. Cash parking is R20 and card parking is R25.
📍 Venue & Directions
Location: Amanzimtoti Rugby Club (Hutchison Park / 1 Riverside Road).
Quick Route: Take Exit 138 (Adams Road Off-Ramp) from the N2 (Northbound or Southbound), turn onto Adams Road, head right onto Andrew Zondo Road/Kingsway, and turn right into Hutchison Road. Follow the signs past the tennis/bowling clubs straight to the main parking area!
🍔 Food, Beverages & Facilities
Fuel Up: This is a major fundraising day for our club! The Crossbar Clubhouse will be wide open with their full menu, alongside a fantastic selection of local food vendors to keep the family going all day long.
Get Comfortable: Bring along your sunscreen, camp chairs, and gazebos. Ample gazebo space is available right around the playing fields.
Ablutions: Available at the top field, inside Crossbar, and over at Lords & Legends.
Safety First: Rest assured, Event Medical will be fully on-site with six medics across both fields, plus ambulances on standby.

Let's lead by example and match our players' amazing energy with top-tier sportsmanship:
🚫 NO cooler boxes and NO glass or alcohol are permitted on the fields.
🚫 Please ensure there is no smoking or foul language near the playing fields.
🤝 Let's show total respect to the match officials, opposition teams, coaches, and volunteers at all times.

Following on from an incredible day of rugby at home, our 1st team stepped onto the field and delivered something truly special.
A 78–0 victory that wasn’t just about the score — it was about heart, pride, and a team playing for each other, for this club, and for everyone who fills the sidelines with love and gees.
Toti rugby is building something powerful, something rooted in community and carried by passion.
