A customer sent me this video just now. He received his dummy SARMODEL 34-002 and promptly hooked it to 34-001 also by Frank which he received a while ago. He runs DC analogue and in the video you can see Lima grain wagons on SARMODEL bogies and Lima 0Z’s running on SARMODEL replacement chassis and bogies.
And there is nothing in this clip that looks out of place or akward. It makes me tremendously proud to see stuff like this. And it is all running on 16.5mm gauge as well.

One can get away with a 35GE and even a 32 on 16.5mm gauge. But a 33GE is a different animal. For some reason it makes the difference between 12mm and 16.5mm rather obvious. I cannot put my finger on it why…..
Maybe because the bogies are not symmetrical. Maybe the side frame design. I do not know.

Dudes! I have five ESU Loksound 58410 sound decoders for sale. 8 pin wired plug so if you want to hard wire the decoder in, just snip the plug off. Sugar cube speaker included.
