A Little Patience After Hollow Tining โณ
Freshly hollow-tined greens can test your patience, with sandy surfaces and the occasional bobble making putting a little more challenging.
Before your round, spend a few minutes on the practice green. Roll putts from different distances to get a feel for the pace, rather than relying on how the greens usually play.
If theyโre running slower, use a slightly longer, smooth stroke instead of giving the ball a sudden jab. Focus on a clean strike and good distance control, and accept that even a well-struck putt may take an unexpected turn.
Those little holes are doing an important job, helping air and water reach the roots and keeping our greens healthy for the rounds ahead. ๐ฑ
Next time youโre on the green, keep your stroke smooth and your frustration in check. A little patience goes a long way! ๐๏ธโโ๏ธ๐๏ธโโ๏ธ
