Remember the old Re*****on Accelerator loads? They put 55-gr. .224 bullets inside 30-caliber nylon sabots in 30-30 and 30-06 to achieve some crazy MVs like 3,400 and 4,080 fps respectively. Turns out handloaders can find sabots today and roll their own, even atop the 300 magnums. Wonder how fast those go? Did you ever try the old Accelerators? Were they effective?
