Rand Airport is home ground for us, so this show is a special day on the calendar.
Henley Air will be offering helicopter flips at the Rand Airshow on Sunday, 30 August 2026, at Rand Airport, Germiston. The event runs from 08:00 to 16:00, with flying displays, static aircraft, exhibitors, food vendors and family activities throughout the day. A short flip is a good way to see the airfield from the other side of the circuit. So, if you’re at the show, come find us and take a quick look at Rand from above.

Through ROCKET HEMS Air Rescue, Henley Air supports high-risk sectors where access and response time are critical, particularly in remote operational areas where terrain, distance, and site conditions can directly affect emergency aviation response.

Today we recognise one of aviation’s most capable engineering inventions: the helicopter. From rescue and medical transfers to firefighting, transport, powerline work, tourism, agriculture and remote operations, helicopters do work that often starts where roads, runways and easy access end.

We also celebrate and thank the people behind the helicopters; the pilots, engineers, crew, operations teams, and support staff who keep us safe in the air every day.

Our Bell 206 LongRanger is a single-engine turbine aircraft with seating for up to five passengers and a range of around 480 km, load dependent. It suits charter, scenic, safari, utility, and aerial support work.
