Five years ago, The Local Edit was created with one simple vision: to bring local creativity together in one beautifully curated, easy-to-shop destination.

Together, we’ve supported over 400 brands and, in turn, countless South African families, makers and dreamers.

We’ve been reflecting on just how much that means, and on the incredible community that has made it all possible.

This September, we’re celebrating the people who have chosen local with us.

We’ll be surprising some of our most loyal supporters throughout our birthday month.
