JUST A REMINDER... WE ARE CLOSED TOMMOROW!!!

CANCELLED 6 JUNE 2026

Voortrekker Monument parkrun is cancelled on Saturday, 6 June 2026.

Due to the Mampoer Fees taking place at the Monument, the venue is expected to be extremely busy. After careful consideration, we have decided that it will not be possible to host a safe parkrun event on the day.

The safety of our parkrunners, walkers, volunteers, and spectators will always be our highest priority, and for this reason we have made the difficult decision to cancel.

If you're still looking to get your parkrun fix, why not visit one of our neighbouring parkruns:

💚 What a special Saturday! 💚

A huge thank you to the amazing Dassie Squad from Botanical Garden parkrun for joining us at Voortrekker Monument parkrun this weekend.

There is something truly special about bringing two volunteer teams together. From the laughter and teamwork during parkrun to sharing stories around the braai afterwards, the day was filled with friendship, community, and everything that makes parkrun so much more than just a Saturday morning event.

Thank you to every volunteer who made the day so memorable. We may belong to different parkruns, but days like these remind us that we're all part of one parkrun family. ❤️
