The time has come. CWG 2026🇿🇦

Today our athletes Cheyenne Smith Nico Du Plooy and coaches Darryn Anthony and Andrew Anthony fly out to represent South Africa at the 2026 Commonwealth Games after weeks of preparation, hard work and countless hours on the platform here at Performance Purist .

It’s been a privilege to be part of the journey right up until this mornings final training session. Now it’s time to step onto the international stage and show the world what South African weightlifting is made of and what it means to be a Purist!

Safe travels, lift big, trust the process and make the country proud.

We’re behind you every step of the way. 🇿🇦

Recently, Purist became home to the South African Weightlifting Team for a Training Camp ahead of the 2026 Commonwealth Games. 🇿🇦🏋🏼

An even prouder moment for us is knowing that the National Head Coach leading the camp and the team to the Games is our very own Darryn Anthony and two of the athletes selected to represent South Africa, permanently call Purist home.

High performance isn’t something we switch on for a competition. It’s built through years of consistent coaching, relentless work and a commitment to doing the basics exceptionally well.

We’re incredibly proud of everyone involved and can’t wait to watch Team South Africa step onto the Commonwealth platform.

Go make us proud. 🇿🇦👊🏼

THE PURIST WINTER CHALLENGE IS HERE. ❄️

From 01 June to 29 August, every class you show up for could bring you closer to winning one of our biggest giveaways yet.

The Winter Challenge is open to all Purist members on our 4 Classes Per Week or Unlimited Membership packages.

We’re also launching a special 3 Month Winter Challenge Membership for those wanting to commit purely to the challenge. Although… once you get a taste of Purist, we doubt you’ll want to leave.

HOW IT WORKS:

• Attend a class at Purist
• Share it to your Instagram & Facebook Story and tag us
• Repeat this on 50 separate days over the 3 month challenge period

Complete all 50 days and you’ll earn 50 tickets into the raffle draw.

• Refer a friend for a One Week Trial = 5 raffle tickets
