A Ward 7 Gutu resident supports the Bill, saying witness protection allows people to give evidence without fear of harm.

Youth from Gutu said he supports the bill because
it protects witnesses, safeguards national resources and aligns Zimbabwe with UN anti-corruption standards.

Gutu resident said they are appealing for a chat box where people can safely submit evidence, with financial support for witnesses so they do not use their own money.

Residents seek stronger witness and whistleblower protection, while Gutu welcomes the Bill’s enactment.

Speaking at the public hearing on Collective Management Organisations (ZIMURA and ZICCO) and the plight of musicians in Bulawayo, artist Dr. Lux stated that the ongoing dispute between ZIMURA and ZICCO has divided musicians.
