I was you once. Please read ❤️‍🩹

I hated my body. I was carrying 30kg extra and kept trying every fu***ng measure to get it off — EXTREME measures btw, because I thought it was possible to lose it all in a few weeks or months.

I would only wear certain shaped clothes. Had meltdowns over outfits, cried over them and had a terrible relationship with myself in my 20s. I feel bad for her, now.

I even once abused laxatives for a period of time to try and undo every ‘binge’ (not real bingeing btw) I would have because my dieting was so extreme I was constantly starving so I would then end up getting a takeaway and eating LOADS and thought they could undo the mistake.

But in my late 20s I finally got myself a coach and done a real plan that actually had REAL coaching behind it. A plan where someone would stop me from making mistakes and call me out on behaviours and things that once made me yo-yo.

Actually I had tried a coach prior to this who told me when I had a dominoes one night by accident to run a 10k the next day to undo it so I fired her 😅

My new coach was great but it meant slow, but sustainable results. I initially thought this was a bad thing but it is so f***ing valuable you wouldn’t believe.

Now many years later I have now spent 7 years maintaining that fat loss with a second baby inbetween, terminally unwell parents and juggling a business that supports over 150 women at any one time.

Now this is me. People who watch but never engage probably think I now love myself or even think who does she think she is?

They are partly right.. yes I do now finally at the age of 35 love myself, and my body — not completely but a hell of a lot more than I used to and it was EARNED.

So if you’re currently where I once was… overwhelmed, exhausted and stuck in the cycle… please know this:

You do not need another extreme plan. You need support, strategy and someone who actually gives a s**t about helping you keep the results for life.

But most importantly know where you are doesn’t need to be permanent and you can change 🤍

So you think because you’re in your 50s you can’t change your body anymore?

That hormones and menopause get the final say?

Leeann is coming up for 52.
And this is just 4 months of progress.

Not through extremes.
Not through punishing herself.
But through consistency, rebuilding trust with her body, and learning to work WITH it instead of against it.

There was a time she felt strong, lean and confident.
Then life, stress, hormones, poor sleep and the last year hit hard — and training became something she struggled to even face.

Now? She’s sleeping better. Back to morning training again. Getting stronger. Changing her body composition.
And most importantly… starting to love herself and her body again.

This isn’t the end result.
There’s still so much more to come.

Your age does not decide your potential.

My second bride of the year — Lucy 👰‍♀️

Lucy was one of my very first PT clients when I opened my studio, and after coming back to work with me in 2024, she’s completely transformed not just physically, but mentally too. Since then she’s completed two photoshoots, built strong routines and habits, and most importantly learned how to maintain her results long term 🤍

Because the real goal isn’t quick fixes or constantly starting over — it’s creating a lifestyle you can sustain without yo-yoing or undoing all your hard work. And honestly, learning to maintain is often the hardest part of all.

I’ve watched you from the sidelines slowly find yourself again and push yourself. You have really loved yourself by doing this, without even realising.

The last 1-2 years watching those little PBs and you show up every single week for every session have been an absolute pleasure. You are strong and so inspiring to those around you. Again — you don’t even realise it 🤍

Keep going, because loving yourself first really truly matters. 💫

A long term client — a lot of lifestyle changes for this one over the years but still has the balance and enjoys a beer, a game and a trip away frequently while making progress and prioritising her health and fitness.

Absolutely smashed her first shoot.

This year we’ve seen confidence really truly come to light with outfits she would never wear before and a lot more self love. This one’s been in the gym at 4.30am to get it done, otherwise there was no other way. Dedicated and committed fully 🔐

Looking amazing only benefits if you FEEL amazing too. For this one, we’ve ticked both those boxes.

Onto our next goal now 🔨

So….

Take a little minute before you comment on someone else’s body when you don’t know their story.

Recently, I’ve had clients tell me they’ve been called “too skinny”, asked if they’re on GLP1s, comments like “fading away” — despite working incredibly hard, improving their health, building confidence, and feeling happier than they have in years. During this cut I was even met with a few comments too, that didn’t sound all so complimentary.

But here’s the thing:
Feeling your best and looking your best are deeply personal.

Someone else’s opinion of your body does not override how you feel in it.

For some people, their healthiest body is leaner.
For others, it’s softer.
For some, it’s stronger.
For others, it’s simply having more energy, confidence, and freedom around food.

Not every transformation needs public commentary.
And not every body exists to meet other people’s preferences.

Unless it’s kind, supportive, or genuinely uplifting — maybe we don’t need to comment on someone’s body at all 🤍
