Odeon Star Cinema is looking for a Junior Casual All Rounder to join our team!

This hands-on role includes:
🍦 Making our world-famous choc-top ice creams
🎟 Working across candy bar & ushering
🎬 Helping create a great cinema experience for our guests

What you need to know:
⭐ Approx. 3–6 hours per week to start, with more hours during holidays
⭐ Weekend & school holiday availability is essential
⭐ No experience needed — full training provided

We are officially launching our SENIOR preseason training sessions. It doesn’t matter if you haven’t picked up a bat in five years or you've been training all winter - all skill levels are welcome!

We're looking to grow the club this year, so new players always welcome. If you know someone who might want to join a great community club, please invite your friends down for a hit.

𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴!!!

Parents and supporters, our first Junior General Meeting of the year is just around the corner! This is a quick but incredibly important session where we plan for the upcoming season.

We’ll be mapping out the volunteer roles we need filled to keep things running smoothly for the kids. From coaches and team managers to casual helpers. No experience is required, just a willingness to support the junior club!

This coming season Riley is stepping back as Junior Co-Ordinator. Our junior cricket program didn't just grow overnight. It took a lot of hard work.

When Riley took on the juniors, we started with basically zero teams. Thanks to his efforts, our junior program is absolutely thriving. We now field 7 teams across U10 to U17!

Today, we want to give a massive thank you to Riley Egan for being the driving force behind that incredible journey.

Sarah Brooksby is taking over the Junior Co-Ordinator role. A lot of you will know Sarah so it will be a pretty smooth transition. Sarah will need a lot of support so please put your hand up to help where you can. Thank you Sarah for taking on this role.

Come along, hear the plans for the year, and see where you can lend a hand. Many hands make light work!

📣 A Massive Thank You to Two Club Legends! 📣

We have some big shoes to fill as two of our incredible Executive Committee members step down from their roles.

🏏 To our Vice President, Jason Macaitis: Thank you for your leadership, support, and endless dedication to making our club the great community it is today.

🏏 To our Treasurer, Max Hosking: Thank you for keeping our finances in tip-top shape and working tirelessly behind the scenes to keep the club on track.

Both are still part of the committee and will be helping out where they can.

Stepping up into Vice President will be Jake Finch.

Des Beaty will be switching to Treasurer to continue the great work Max has done.

Taking over Des' role as Secretary will be Steven Gibson.

Also welcome to new (and returning) committee members Ashleigh Finch, Gareth Edmonds and Simon Thomas.

You still can join our committee. Our next meeting June 10th at the club from 6:30pm.
