The first matches of the Women’s Laurel Wreath were played on Friday with the following match results. Some strong wins and some very close matches were seen. Good luck to those who made it through and well done to all participants! 👏🏼

Our Pennant Teams came close yesterday battling the elements at home but didn’t quite get over the line. Both teams played North Adelaide and Div 2 went down 4.5 - 3.5 and Div 3 walked away with a halved match. We wish both teams good luck next week! Let’s go NHGC!!

On Friday we hosted our Breast Cancer Day and this year saw a massive 58 players get involved - our biggest one yet! We have almost raised $2500 for Breast Cancer Research so thank you to all who played, donated, volunteered and supported the event. It’s so good to see how much this event has grown and we can’t wait to see it continue to grow 🩷

Our public pennant teams got there season underway at home on the weekend! Our Div 2 side got a great win beating Seacliff 6-2 whilst our Div 3 side saw some struggles going down 6-2 to Seacliff. Both teams play at home again next weekend so get out and support your fellow members if you can!

The Captain’s Trophy was played yesterday and although very closely contested the last group off the course were victorious with Lynnear Fagan and Warren Cosh coming in with a Nett 67!

Last Saturday our members competed in the Patrons Trophy event where Steve Dunning was victorious 🏆 Some great scores were on display despite the windy and rainy conditions. Congratulations to Steve and all the winners!
If your putting is costing you shots, start here! This is a simple, short putting drill that takes far less time than you’d expect. Place a tee about 1 metre from the hole and challenge yourself to make 100 putts.
Beginner - Just hole 100 putts
Intermediate - Hole 95+ putts out of 100
Expert - Hole all 100 putts in a row!

The NHGC Junior Pennant Team narrowly missed out on playing finals this year. The season had its ups and downs but it was great to see lots of close matches and improvements from all of them! Great team spirit, sportsmanship and determination was shown and we hope they continue to grow and improve to get into contention again next year 👏🏼⛳️
