A new season is just around the corner!

Whether you’ve been part of Southern Stars for years or you’re looking for a new club to call home, we’d love to have you with us this summer.

Expect Monday night trainings for juniors, weeknight games, plenty of laughs, friendships and a whole lot of netball.

The season starts the week commencing 6 October, with training held at Port Noarlunga Sporting Complex.

What a fantastic day at the SUNA 11s & 13s Carnival! 🌟 We are so proud of all our teams who gave it their absolute all, supported each other, and played incredible netball from start to finish. Here is how our teams went:

✨ 13s (Coach Mandy): Finished equal 1st on points (4th overall on percentage), just missing out on the Grand Final! For a team playing together for the very first time, this was an amazing achievement and a huge effort.

✨ 11s Red (Coach Emma-Kate): Finished 4th on the ladder after a huge day of competition! They played some of their best netball yet, including an absolute standout, high-intensity battle against Oakdale where the team truly shined.

✨ 11s (Coach Tayla): Kicked off the morning strong with a great win against Encounter Bay! Merging players across different competitions, the girls bonded quickly, fought hard through every match (including a nail-biting draw), and never gave up. Extra shoutout to the two players who smashed their first-ever carnival!

A massive thank you to all our coaches, umpires, and fantastic parents for the support on the sidelines all day. You rock! 💫

Huge congratulations to Cassie Ackerman on reaching her incredible 350th club game milestone! Cassie, you are a phenomenal player who brings so much intelligence and a rock-solid, strong presence to our club.

Reaching this milestone takes years of loyalty, but your journey makes it even more special. After fighting back from ACL injuries in both knees during your junior seasons, your ultimate determination to get back on court is something we are all incredibly proud of.

You are a massive asset across both our A1 SHNA team and Division 1 SUNA team. As a highly smart mid-court player, you read the play beautifully and make it a nightmare for the opposition to contain. 👟⚡️

Plus, your ability to swing right into the circle and shoot goals gives our top-tier teams a brilliant versatile edge every single week. 🎯🏀

Our incredible Stars players represented the club beautifully at the Kadina carnival today! It was a well-run event, and we had an absolute blast on and off the court ❤️
A special shoutout to our 17&Unders, who stepped up to the challenge of playing in the low division senior competition since there wasn't a 17s bracket. Not only did they hold their own against the seniors, but they finished the entire carnival completely undefeated to take out the title! 👑💪
We are so incredibly proud of the grit, talent, and amazing club spirit shown by every single player who hit the court.

Aaliyah earned the award for her absolutely amazing read of the play in defence! 🛑👀 She was consistently shutting down options and stepping up to create brilliant turnovers for the team. 💪🔥

Shaylee is an absolute speedy ninja on the court and played an exceptional game as a goalie! 🥷⚡ She completely owned the circle today, constantly reading the play and popping through to be there for her GA whenever they needed her. 🎯🏀
