Southern Stars Netball Club has been a successful netball club in the southern area of Adelaide for nearly 40 years. We were one of the first clubs to start the Southern United Netball Association in 1974 which has developed from a 2 court to a 12 court netball competition catering for the Southern community of Adelaide. We cater for junior and senior players with a strong emphasis on junior development with an average of 10 junior teams per season. The club creates a warm and family friendly atmosphere proved by current players exceeding 300 games with our club. Games and trainings are held week nights which offers more flexibility for busy families and busy weekends.

❤️💙🤍 MILDURA CARNIVAL 2026 WRAP-UP ❤️💙🤍

Three teams, road trips, two huge days of netball, early mornings, tired legs, warm spring weather and plenty of laughs along the way.

⭐️ Our Inters finished the weekend the same way they started it, with a win! 🙌 We saw enormous growth across the carnival, particularly in the way the girls adjusted to some very physical netball and plenty of body contact. 💪

🔴 Seniors Red finished fifth on the ladder to earn a place in the finals. Although they couldn’t get the win, reaching finals was a fantastic achievement and they should be incredibly proud of their weekend. 🔥

⚪ Seniors White rallied hard to finish 11th out of 16 teams. A solid effort and although perhaps there were a few too many draws along the way 😂 Apparently, we really enjoyed sharing the points!

We’re so proud of all three teams for battling it out, supporting one another and making the most of every minute.

A brilliant weekend of netball, teamwork and memories and plenty for Stars to be proud of! ⭐

Amy is as tough as they come in defence. She gives everything for her team every single match, even playing through her Grand Final with a fractured finger! She keeps telling us she is retiring, but we all know she just cannot stay away from the court and we are so happy she keeps coming back for more! 🏐⚡️💪

We officially wrapped up our season with two incredible presentation events, our Junior Presentations followed by our Inter & Senior Presentations 🏆✨

A huge congratulations to all of our award recipients, and a massive thank you to everyone who made this season possible:

💰 The Deal: We pay $30 for every dress returned in good condition.

✅ Checklist: No stains, no major snags and Velcro still in good nick!

📍 Drop-off: At the canteen — see Tricia
⏰ When: Monday nights at training
