The WA Institute of Sport (WAIS) are visiting Albany as part of its 2026 Regional Tour.
Together with Great Southern Academy of Sport they are hosting a free Coaches Breakfast and Information Session and would love to see coaches from across all sports and levels attend.
Wednesday 14 October | 7:00am – 8:15am
Retravision Stadium, Albany

Joining from WAIS will be:
Jake Trewin – WAIS Community Engagement Coordinator
Mariah Williams – WAIS Connection to Country Officer and Hockeyroo
Brad Scott – WAIS Para Unit Lead and Paralympian
The morning will provide an opportunity to hear directly from the WAIS team about their programs and pathways, the WAIS Para Unit and Connection to Country initiatives, as well as Mariah and Brad’s own experiences in high-performance sport.
More importantly, it’s a chance for our regional coaches to ask questions, connect directly with WAIS, share knowledge and build relationships with other coaches across the Great Southern.
These sessions are designed to inform and inspire regional coaches and parents to support the next generation of athletes.
