Gooday Girls, I have registered a team for the 2026 Maroondah Tournament. The registration is for Division 2 Women. (Men’s Divisions were already full – so we couldn’t submit a men’s team).
We still have a lot to do before the tournament in regards to training and administration before the event.
The tournament is scheduled for Saturday, 19 September and Sunday, 20 September 2026.
Matches will be conducted at Maroondah Nets (154 Heathmont Rd. HEATHMONT) and The Rings (362 Cantebury Rd. RINGWOOD), in eastern Melbourne.
Training and team selections will still be conducted at Murray High School on Sundays from 12 noon – 1pm. General women’s volleyball training will continue from 1 – 3pm.
Note #- Murray High School unavailable on 16 AUG 26, so an alternate training venue will be sought.

Beach Volleyball commencing soon.
We are aiming for the courts to be open on around 29 September and the first round of competition on around the 13 October.
Tuesday, 15 December will be our last round prior to the Christmas break.
Thursday, 17 December will be scheduled for our Christmas break party.
We hope to start back on 12 and 14 January 2027.
Grand Finals will be planned for approximately 02 and 04 March 2027.
There may be an Annual General Meeting organised in the beach season.
The above dates are still not set.

Be aware that every registered player will have access to the courts, outside of normal competition times, via a combination lock, once the courts have been set up.

Beach Pairs and Beach Threes will again be contested on Tuesday evenings.
Beach Fours will again be contested on Thursday evenings.
We want to run a Juniors/Secondary School Age Competition on Tuesday afternoons prior to the senior competition. Probably from 4:30-6:30pm.
We also want to hear from you prior to the season commencing.
Beach Pairs – Do we want a Men’s, a Mixed and a Women’s league – numbers will dictate this.
Committee – if you would like to be part of a stand-alone Beach Volleyball Committee, that has a say on how the competition is structured and played, please let us know.
If you would like to help with the weekly running of the competition (even being in charge of one of the nights) – please let us know.
