2026 Desert Nationals - Sat 29th & Sun 30th August
This high speed, action-packed event - Rounds 1 & 2 of the ANDRA Regional Sportsman Championship is sure to be intense as competitors chase down valuable points and the elusive ANDRA Silver Christmas Tree trophy, whilst vying for the all-important bonus points on offer here in Alice Springs. Points for the NDRC Aeroflow Sportsman Series will also be on the line.

Just some of the brackets on track will be Junior Dragster, Junior Bike, Super Sedan, Modified Bike, Competition Bike, Modified Car, Super Stock, Top Sportsman & Supercharged Outlaw as well as Street Car and Street Bike.

A Test’n’Tune on Friday 28th (late afternoon) will also be available for Desert Nationals entrants.

📢DESERT NATIOANLS ANNOUNCEMENT📢
CADRA will now host the TWO opening rounds of the 2026/27 ANDRA Sportsman Series with a Desert Double at ASID:
• Saturday 29 August – Round 1
• Sunday 30 August – Round 2
That’s TWO rounds in ONE weekend, plus we’re kicking it all off with a Test & Tune Friday arvo (approx 2-6pm for those wanting to plan) to help get everyone dialled in.

Important update from the CADRA Committee:

-The upcoming July round and protecting the future of the club
-We will be reviewing future club rounds until conditions improve
-We are looking for new committee members and a Public Officer
-The club is still moving forward, with ongoing work on the facility and infrastructure
-We need your support — members, volunteers, and racers all play a part
