What You Need to Know Before Attending

Ensure compliance with all regulations relating to transport (bag/case – not exposed)

Know the location of serial numbers

Know the make, model or any other identifying details

Bring tools if these are required to access any identifying markings

Booking time limits will be strictly adhered to

SSAA Alice Springs is a registered fi****ms dealer, and is approved to sell OC (pepper) spray to eligible adults.
Information below, credit NT Police OC trial.
1 September, a person must:
Be 18 years of age or over
Present valid photo ID at the time of purchase
Complete a Buyer Declaration that you have no relevant criminal history, police or court orders
Only purchase in store from participating Fi****ms Dealers in the NT.
People purchasing OC spray will be required to complete a Buyer Declaration of their eligibility to purchase, possess, carry and use OC spray for self-defence.
A copy of the Buyer Declaration must be retained and held in their possession (physically or digitally) when carrying OC spray. They will be required to present this to a police officer when asked, or their OC spray may be seized.
A list of Declared OC spray Fi****ms Dealers will be available online at OC Spray trial | NT Police, Fire & Emergency Services.
