2025 completed and what a year! Our 20 year celebrations, group trip to Japan and Okinawa and more successful Blackbelt achievements. Finally, our annual award winners. Congratulations to Taj Sperling and Mirra Ambika Jain for receiving the honours this year.

Two days behind schedule due to Typhoon Regasa, but the crew finally made it to Japan to commence our first Karate training tour. So excited to share this amazing place with my students. Next stop Okinawa.

So we come to the end of another amazing year. Lots of fantastic achievements and great experiences shared. Congratulations to Jack Jantzen and Mishel Sami Syeda for receiving the main annual club awards.
I am looking forward to 2025 and the exciting plans we have, in what will be our dojo's 20th year. Seasons greetings to all.

Congratulations to Cameron Allen on receiving his Shodan rank. A quiet achiever and genuinely nice young man. Since commencing his training he has rarely missed a class and helps with all kids classes. A truly dedicated student and role model to the younger students.

Grading Day! A great effort from all that tested for their promotion. Many thanks to Kaicho Phil Bates, Alba Shihan and Wade Sensei for officiating. Always a privilege to have you attend our dojo.

Vale Antonio Oliva Seba
1948 - 2024

I was deeply saddened to hear that Sensei Antonio Olivia Seba passed away on Monday, May 13.

Oliva Sensei was, without question, the best sport karate coach I have trained with, and was famous for his tactical drills to improve the possibility of winning in sport kumite. He came to Australia many times since 1985 and has influenced generations of fighters.

For me, his greatest asset was his wisdom. He was a very humble, kind and loving man as well.

His method of coaching will live on in every coach who seriously immersed themselves in his system of training.

He was truly unique and will be sorely missed.
