On this Anzac Day, we take a moment to commemorate the bravery and selflessness of our servicemen and women, as well as the enduring camaraderie with our Kiwi mates.

The Ballarat Dojo will be closed for all Saturday classes in observance of this important day, and will return to our regular class timetable on Monday

What a way to round out a huge week of gradings! Powerful performances across the board from our senior karate students, and none moreso than Senpai Mililah and Senpai Harper, who earned their Junior Black Belts this week.

These girls have trained for 8 and 6 years respectively, through a pandemic, injuries, and life events, coming back stronger and more focused each time. We're so proud of their efforts, and of the students who came to support them on their grading day. Congratulations Team, you embody the spirit, technique and focus of Sho Shin Do Zen Karate.

Classes are running as usual Monday - Wednesday this week, then we're closed for Easter and term break. Reopening on Monday 13th April.
