Fremantle Roosters Rugby League Club Dedicated to the first and greatest club in the W.A.R.L. and those who have supported it in it's 70 year history.

The Fremantle Rugby Club was formed in 1928 and converted to the Fremantle Rugby League club in 1948. It has been playing in the WA 1st division (WARL) for some 70 years now and our club has always relied on attracting local juniors to be the foundation of the club and to carry on into the senior ranks. As can be seen from the following pages and history, the Fremantle Rugby league club believes in being pro-active so as not just to ensure a successful senior team but to ensure the grass roots of the game are developed.

As another season comes to a close, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made it what it was.

To our players and coaches—thank you for the commitment, sacrifice and pride you’ve shown in representing the Fremantle Roosters every time you stepped onto the field. While the season didn’t finish the way we had hoped, the effort and heart you displayed throughout the year is something our club is incredibly proud of.

To our volunteers, families, friends, sponsors and supporters—thank you for showing up week after week. From setting up fields, working behind the scenes, running the canteen, helping on game days, cheering from the sidelines and supporting our players, your contribution is what keeps our club thriving.

The Fremantle Roosters have always been more than a football club—we’re a community. Every person who gave their time, energy and support played a part in this season, and we are truly grateful.

Thank you for standing behind the red, white and blue through every high and low. We’re proud of what we’ve built together, and we’re already looking forward to what next season will bring.

ONE MORE. 🐓❤️🤍💙

Tomorrow, our First Grade take the field in the Grand Final.

Everything this group has worked for comes down to one more game. Every tough session, every setback, every win, every sacrifice and every time they’ve turned up for one another has brought them here.

But tomorrow is bigger.

They carry their teammates, their families, everyone who has worn the jersey before them, and an entire club and community standing proudly behind them.

And named alongside them as our 20th player is Te Puna Sellers — forever a Rooster. 🤍

Tomorrow, play for the bloke beside you. Play for the jersey. Play for everyone who calls this club home.

100 GAMES | AYNSLEE HENRY ❤️💙

This Friday, we celebrate our Aynslee Henry as she takes the field for game 100 — and what better stage than semi-finals footy.

A premiership player. Our Vice Captain. A leader. And the teammate everyone wants standing beside them.

But Aynslee’s impact at the Roosters goes far beyond what she does on the field. She gives her time, supports our juniors, helps wherever she’s needed and is always there for her teammates and her club.

Loyal, humble, dependable and Roosters through and through — Aynslee is a huge part of the fabric of our club.

A pretty special moment for two of our own ❤️💙🐓

Ezra Taomia and Aynslee Henry were presented with their 100-game jerseys together.

Ezra officially became a Fremantle Roosters Centurion yesterday, running out for game 100 as our club captain, while Aynslee will reach the same incredible milestone when she takes the field for her 100th next weekend.

Two people who have given so much to this club, both on and off the field. Partners in life, leaders within our club and role models to so many of our younger Roosters.

There was something pretty special about seeing them standing side by side, holding those jerseys.

100 GAMES | EZRA TAOMIA 🐓❤️💙

A huge milestone this Saturday as our club captain Ezra Taomia plays his 100th game for the Fremantle Roosters, officially joining our Centurion Club.

A true club champion, leader and role model who represents everything it means to be a Rooster.

But beyond the footy, Ezra is a proud dad, partner, uncle and brother — and someone who means so much to so many within our club.

He leads from the front, gives everything for the jersey and continues to set the standard for the next generation coming through.

This Saturday is also our final home game of the season, so let’s pack out Treeby and make some serious noise for our skipper as he runs out for game 100.

Get down to the Roosters and celebrate our captain.
