🎾 What an Incredible 4 Days at Bendigo! 🎾
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our recent Bendigo Tournament such a fantastic success.
Over the past 4 days, we proudly hosted:
✅ 180 players
✅ 418 matches
✅ Countless great moments of sportsmanship, competition, and community spirit.
We would like to sincerely thank all competitors and families who travelled from near and far to be part of the event — including players from our local Bendigo community, across regional Victoria including Graham Charlton's team from Traralgon, and even New Zealand. Your support and enthusiasm helped create an amazing atmosphere throughout the tournament.
It was fantastic to see players of all ages and levels competing, connecting, and enjoying the game.
A special thank you also goes to our staff, officials, volunteers, and supporters behind the scenes who helped ensure the event ran smoothly from start to finish.
We are proud to continue building Bendigo as a destination for tennis events and look forward to welcoming everyone back again soon for even bigger and better tournaments ahead. 💙

Day 2 at the Bendigo Tournament and where would our young tennis players be without their parents supporting them day in, day out, in sunny weather and equally on a cloudy, windy, cold day...one day at a time, one point at a time...see you all tomorrow for Day 3 :)

Day 2 of the Bendigo O5K J125 GBS125 April Tournament has just been completed. The weather stayed dry, great food served by the staff, barista coffee for a pep up and some awesome tennis in both juniors and seniors. The match of the day was between Max Flanagan and Aussie Roman Filipovic with a tight, explosive tussle in the men's open event. The women's draw included Bendigo local Winnie Kelly taking out Aurelie Kostova and more exciting tennis to come as we get closer to the finals in the next 2 days. Two legends in Australian tennis also graced us with their presence. Former competitors on court and off-court friends throughout the years, we have here a picture of local legend Terry Smith refeering the Bendigo tournament and Maurice Broom visiting town and his son Wayne who recently took over operations and oversees the Bendigo Regional Tennis Centre. Now, if the players can play like these two gents, then we're talking... :)
