Shut the gate - you can now livestream ‘The Plug’ in Bunbury! 🎣

We’ve just added our 12th coast cam to the network, showing Bunbury skippers the current status of the storm surge gate at Koombana Bay. 🎦

The unique barrier protects Bunbury’s low-lying areas from the same ocean flooding that occurred when Cyclone Alby hit in 1978. 🌊

The newly installed coast cam immediately shows skippers if they can transit to open water from the Leschenault Inlet. 🚤

No doubt, the camera will also be popular with fishers who can now see if there’s room for them to drop a line. 😉
