The Bunyip Netball Club is pleased to announce Shanae Ingram as Head Coach for the 2027 season!

“My love for netball started at the young age of 5, when I first started netball. I played all my juniors at my local club and was really fortunate to have opportunities to play representative netball at Interleague, Gippsland Storm, Latrobe Valley and the Netball Victoria Talent Academy.
Across my time playing, I had some incredible coaches! It was these coaches who inspired me to take up coaching. I’ve coached all age groups over the past 20 years, from Net Set Go through to A grade, Interleague sides and a development coach position with Casey Demons.

I’m looking to forward to joining Bunyip in 2027 season, to continue to develop and challenge the existing local talent and any new talent that joins us. Yip Yip!”

We warmly welcome Shanae and her family to the club, and are excited to continue to build on the success from previous years!

HALL OF FAME INDUCTEE 2026

Congratulations to Taylah Roberts for being inducted into the Bunyip Netball Club Hall of Fame!!

Wowie what a talented player our Tay is!
In juniors Taylah was a talented and accurate goaler, being recognised for her talents at both a club, league and representative level. Taylah has been awarded multiple club runners up B&F and was the EDNA league B&F in her U17s years (2014&15).
Taylah was awarded A Grade runners up B&F in 2014 at just 16 years old 🤩
In her incredible years as a junior at Bunyip Tay was scouted by numerous representatives teams including the EDNA, Waverley league and Storm.

Taylah has won back-to-back premiership flags with her best friends in those U17s years and we a pivotal part of the teams success.
Taylah won her 3rd premiership in 2022 in C Grade alongside her U17s premiership coach, Casey.

Taylah has played 146 junior games and 160 senior games at the Bunyip Netball Club.

We are so proud of Tay’s time at the BNC, she is very loved teammate amongst our senior teams and we are so lucky to have her at our club.
Taylah is a one of a kind on and off the court, we cannot wait to see her continue to grow as a senior player within our club

Congratulations to Madi McDonell for being recognised for her efforts for the 2026 season being named Best Club Person.

Madi is an integral part of the Bunyip Netball Club. Having both played, coached and is currently our Vice President.

Madi has been Vice President for 3 years now and recently took on the role of President for a short period while Suzanne was away. Each year she puts all her effort into ensuring the season runs smoothly. She was instrumental in coordinating this year’s trials, manages our social media and is always behind the scenes making sure everything is organised and ready to go before each game day.
This past season, Madi coached C Grade alongside Georgie Mitchell to much success, taking the girls all the way to finals.

We are incredibly lucky to have Madi and can’t wait to see how the club continues to grow under her leadership.

Congratulations to Audrey who has been recognised for the 2026 Umpire Encouragement Award!

Audrey stepped up this year and become an umpire! She was enthusiastic, engaged and really brought a fresh face to our quality umpiring team at Bunyip. With the help of mentors, Audrey took on feedback and was able to be supported to continue to grow and learn each week. It was awesome to watch her confidence grow every week.

Congratulations again Audrey, we cannot wait to see you continue to grow your umpiring talents next year 🤩

Congratulations to Carlie Nightingale for being recognised for the Under 21 Achievement award for 2026.

Carlie has been a rock for the juniors this year being both the u13s co-coach but also runs the Net Set Go program. We constantly get raving reviews from parents for Carlies ability to teach the younger participants. She is very dedicated to helping the younger players grow in the netball skills.
Carlie is always available on a Saturday, being one of the first to set up and last to leave for home games. She is constantly available to help out with anything on game day.
Being a great young player voice on the committee, Carlie brings fantastic insights to the committee meeting surrounding suggestions that are beneficial to our playing group.
Most importantly, Carlie helps out in the canteen EVERY home game. Her superstar mum Vicky runs our awesome canteen and Carlie is in there every week ensuring everything is ran smoothly alongside her mum - it’s a very cute family affair!!

We are so proud to have Carlie as a young leader of our club, and we cannot wait for her to continue her growth with the BNC.
A special thank you to Patti and John Miller for their continued donation for this award 🫶
